We are looking for someone with excellent leadership and management skills, a flair for campaigning and communications, some experience of fundraising, and an understanding of the UK political system; but the Executive Director does NOT need to be a tax expert.

The salary for this position is in the range of £45-50,000, depending on experience. We offer 25 days of paid holiday per year. The position will initially be offered as a one-year fixed-term contract, to be extended subject to funding. The hours are full-time, but part-time job-shares will be considered. There is some flexibility on location; the postholder will need to travel to London on a regular basis, but does not necessarily need to be based in London. There is an option to work at least some days from home, although this is not a requirement.

We anticipate that first round interviews will be held on in early November (in London, or on Skype for candidates based in other parts of the UK), with second round interviews in mid-November (face-to-face in London). We plan to make an offer subject to funding in mid-November, and expect to be in a position to make a formal offer when funding is confirmed in mid-December, with an ideal start date in mid-January.
