To support social enterprises throughout the UK, we have drawn from our networks to put together a series of expert led webinars. Previous webinars have covered areas such as:
Webinars are free to SEUK members. Non members can register for £10 + booking fee via Eventbrite.
Delivered by Adam Richards of Social Value UK, the experts in social value and SROI, participants in this webinar will learn what questions are typically asked in bids, and how best to respond to them to maximise social value in your organisation. Participants will also be given an overview of which councils and clinical commission groups are applying the Social Value Act.
For non-members, book via the eventbrite link here.
This webinar will walk through the key learning elements of the Community People L&D portal to demonstrate how it can help to upskill those working in the social sector and be of benefit to their business / employer.
In partnership with SEUK, the Community People Learning & Development project supports skills development and continuous learning within the social enterprise and voluntary sector.
The portal provides access to hundreds of e-learning modules, business skills and career development tools that encourage people working within the sector to strengthen their commercial knowledge.
Signing up to the platform is the perfect opportunity for social entrepreneurs and not-for-profit business owners to upskill their teams of paid staff and volunteers.
The webinar will be delivered by Matt Weaver and Libby Calaby.
Matt is a social enterprise advocate, CEO of Community Project and charity board Director of a national charity framework. Since founding Community Project in 2013, Matt has inspired the launch of projects that have helped more than 250 people return to sustainable employment, raised tens of thousands of pounds for local charities, diverted hundreds of tonnes of waste from landfill and supported the operational growth of Crisis Support and Food Banks.
Libby joined Community Project in August 2017 and brings a wealth of marketing and personal digital branding experience. Libby has initiated the launch of the Community People platform – an interactive online support tool that provides valuable L&D and career advice to a number of community sectors, in particular to charities, not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises.
